Reedsport finished in fifth place after suffering a 28-30, 22-25, 25-19, 25-9, 15-9 loss to Regis; and Days Creek was sixth after dropping its final match to Bonanza.

The 2010 volleyball season for North Douglas came to a disappointing end after back-to-back losses to Faith Bible and conference opponent Days Creek. The Warriors were playing without star hitter Kassidee Rice, who suffered a compound fracture of a finger during Thursday's practice.

"We struggled with nerves in the opening match, but came back and played a lot better in the next two games," head coach Anne Campbell said. "It was just too difficult to overcome Kassidee's injury, but I was really proud of the girls."

The tournament took place at Pacific University in Forest Grove.
