The Umpqua Lions suffered a 10-6 loss to North Willamette Valley Friday night at the single-A state tournament in Aurora.

The Huskies jumped out to a 9-0 lead behind the one-hit pitching of Griffin Henry. The lefthander was pulled in the 5th inning, but Umpqua wasn't able to get any closer than 4 runs.

Austin Luzier had a two-run triple for the Lions and Zach Holland was 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Next up, Umpqua (14-15) takes on South Medford in a loser-out game Thursday at 2:00PM.
