170731 Douglas football camp imageWINSTON, Ore. -- It's not too late to sign jup and attend the Douglas High School Youth Football Camp, which kicks off Monday evening, July 31.

It's a non-contact camp put on by the DHS coaching staff and players to teach the basic fundamentals of Trojan footbal and to have fun, camp officials say.

Campers are grouped by age and ability.

It's open to upcoming 4th through 8th grade boys and girls.

The camp takes place from July 31 to August 3 and runs from 6-7:30 p.m. each day at the Douglas High football field.

Cost for campers is $20. Cash is accepted or a check can be written to Douglas High School Football and includes a camp t-shirt.

Camp organizers say campers should wear athletic shoes or cleats, shorts and a t-shirt. They should also being water or a sports drink.
