MEDFORD, Ore. -- Roseburg-based Indian Fastpitch is playing for the Western Nationals title Sunday following a 23rd straight win Saturday at US Cellular Community Park in Medford.

The Indians crushed Clovis, Cailf., 9-1, in the semifinals Sunday of the 16U ASA B Western Nationals, setting up the title game.

Maria Bacigalupo homered twice and Kalie Mann and Madysn Blevins each smacked round-trippers in the semifinal win. Pitcher Madsyn Blevins picked up the win for Roseburg.

Roseburg's opponent in the championship game is TBA, but it could be against Clovis again.

Whoever the Indians play, their opponent will have to beat them twice Sunday to notch a tournament victory, whereas Roseburg need only win one game.
