The Douglas Trojans beat visiting Sutherlin 19-14 in an non-league football game Friday night in Winston.

Senior Damon Landry scored a pair of touchdowns and Trent Avery added another score to give Douglas a commanding 19-0 lead.

Sutherlin fought back in the 2nd half as Cade Meisner ran for a 2 yard score and threw a 4th quarter touchdown pass to Korbyn Jones to cut into the Trojan lead.

Next up, Douglas (1-1) will travel to Hidden Valley, while the Bulldogs (0-2) host North Valley.
