PORTLAND, Ore. –  The Umpqua Community College volleyball squad finished solid at the Clackamas Tournament over the weekend.

The Riverhawks finished with the second place trophy following a 3 win, 2 loss weekend.

UCC vs S Peugeot Sound 25-21, 25-15
UCC vs Columbia Basin 20-25, 23-25

Freshman Madison Becker had 16 service aces, 121 assists, and 28 digs. Freshman Emma Lind had 34 kills and 44 digs. Freshman Kyrie Keffer had 58 digs.

“All three of these ladies got 2nd team all-tournament awards also,” UCC coach Chrissy Picknell said. “We had a strong weekend and will be working hard in practice cleaning a few things up for our first league game this week.”

The Riverhwaks (7-10 overall) open NWAC South Region play against Clark on Friday in Roseburg at 6:30 p.m.
