The Douglas Trojans (2-1) travel to Siuslaw (0-3); and South Umpqua (1-2) heads to Coos Bay for a matchup with #3 Marshfield (3-0) in a pair of Far West League games. Meanwhile, Sutherlin (1-2) hosts Junction City (0-3) in a Sky-Em League opener.

Conference play also begins for local 8-man teams with Days Creek (1-2) hosting Prospect (0-1); and Glendale (2-1) traveling to Powers (0-3) in District 2 action. Camas Valley (2-1) welcomes Elkton (2-0) Saturday afternoon.

North Douglas (1-0, 2-1) is at home Friday night for a District 3 battle with Siletz Valley (0-1, 0-3).

Roseburg (0-1, 1-2) looks for its first Southwest Conference win when the Indians entertain South Eugene (0-1, 0-3) at Finlay Field.

Elsewhere, Glide (2-1) hosts Myrtle Point (0-3); Oakland (2-0) plays a non-league game against visiting Kennedy (0-3); Reedsport (1-2) is on-the-road with Corbett (0-2); Yoncalla (1-0, 1-2) entertains Mapleton (1-0, 1-2); and Riddle (0-3) is home against Elgin (2-1).
