SUTHERLIN, Ore. -- Coach Josh Grotting of Sutherlin HS is on the edge of making it to the final round of U.S. Cellular’s Most Valuable Coach program.

He is currently a Top 50 finalist in the nation, ranked #15 in the public voting contest, where the Top 15 advance to the last round.

Voting closes on Monday morning (10 a.m. PT), so this weekend will make or break his chances at $50,000 for his local school.

All Top 15 finalists receive $5,000 for their school and will have a video produced telling the story of their community impact.

You can vote for Oregon’s only finalist and push Coach Grotting into the final 15 by visiting the contest website.
