The Far West League's regular season concluded Thursday night.

Douglas put up a solid effort but lost to visiting North Bend 25-20, 14-25, 23-25, 25-20, 15-7 finishing in 5th place in the FWL and missing out on the playoffs.

South Umpqua beat Siuslaw 2-22, 25-20, 25-19 to capture a share of the league title with Marshfield. The two teams finished 8-2 on the season and will meet Tuesday to determine the FWL's #1 and #2 seeds.

Sophomores Jenna Whitmore and Shayln Gray combined for 16 kills; and junior setter Sydnie Johnson had 28 assists for the Lancers.
