TRI CITY, Ore. -- The South Umpqua volleyball team has reached the "official" postseason.

The Lancers took care of visiting Corbett (12-10 overall) Friday in quick fashion, dispatching the Cardinals in three straight games, 25-20, 25-20, 25-21. The match was an OSAA play-in game.

#16 South Umpqua (11-8) next travels to #3 Hidden Valley (20-3) for a loser-out playoff match with a trip to the 4A state tournament final site on the line.

The match is Saturday in Murphy. Time is TBA.
