ROSEBURG, Ore. – Southwest Conference football coaches have made their all-conference selections, and some Roseburg High players received honors.
Junior Zack Mandera was voted Defensive 1st Team All-SWC at linebacker for the Indians, the only Roseburg player to receive first-team honors.
Two RHS players landed on the 2nd Team for offense – senior receiver Garrett Russell and sophomore running back Doran Gillespie.
Earning Offense Honorable Mentions were senior tight end Brandon Jeffers, senior receiver Brendan Ibarra and junior tackle Thomas Ruth.
Defense Honorable Mentions went to senior linebacker Terrell Jacks, senior defensive back Garrett Russell and junior defensive back Collin Warmouth.
Roseburg closed out 2017 at 3-6 overall, finishing fifth in the SWC with a 2-4 conference record.
