South Umpqua could not hold off a late comeback by Siuslaw in a 48-46 loss in Florence.

The Lancers led for most of the first half and had a 37-33 lead heading into the final quarter, but the Vikings outscored SU 15-9 and held on for the two-point win.

Johnathan Warner led South Umpqua with 14 points; Dylan McFadden had 13; and Taylor Gross finished with 10 points

South Umpqua drops to 0-5 in the FWL and 4-14 overall.
