South Eugene handed Roseburg its 5th straight loss of the season Friday night at Stewart Robertson Memorial Gymnasium.

The Axe (6-5, 11-12) led by as many as 28 points in their 59-43 Southwest Conference victory over the Indians.

Senior Jay Elmore led all scorers with 27 points.

Collin Warmouth had a team-high 18 points for Roseburg (2-9, 11-12), while Cody Johnson finished with 10 and Carson Ellis added 8 points.
