Top-ranked Western Mennonite ended Oakland's chances of winning a state title Saturday night at the Pendleton Convention Center.
The Oakers shot just 20 percent in the first half and trailed 18 points at the break enroute to a 61-37 semifinal loss at the OSAA 2A State Championships.
Oakland's Sean Winn led all scorers with 18 points and Cameron Benzel added 7 points and 17 rebounds.
The Oakers (25-4) play in the 3rd-place game Saturday at 6:30pm.
