Days Creek lost to Powder Valley 63-44 in the 3rd place game at the OSAA 1A state tournament in Baker City.

The Wolves (25-5) fell behind by 10 points after the opening quarter and never led in the entire game.

Kyla Crume finished with 14 points and Lori Jackson had 10 points in the loss.

Oakland lost the consolation championship game to Grant Union 54-44 Saturday morning at the 2A tournament in Pendleton.

Grace Witten led the Oakers (27-4) with 20 points and Cassidy Jones added 5 points and 10 rebounds.
