Top-ranked Umpqua Community College lost its final game of the 2018 season.

Walla Walla (32-1) beat the Riverhawks 90-74 to win the NWAC women's basketball championship Sunday in Everett, Washington.

Sophomore Dajanay Powell scored a team-high 27 points and Jordan Stotler added 16 points to lead UCC. The 6'3" Powell had an outstanding postseason and ended up breaking the tournament scoring record.

The Riverhawks finished the season with an overall record of 31-2.
