180414 Rsbg baseball Zack ManderaROSEBURG, Ore. -- The Roseburg baseball team notched an easy doubleheader sweep over visiting Willamette in Southwest Conference action Saturday afternoon.

The Indians won the first game 11-0 in a mercy-shortened 5-inning affair, Zack Mandera pitching a 3-hit shutout.

Mandera also scored a run and had an RBI. Jonathan Stone 2-for-2 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs, including a double. Cody Johnson was 1-for-2 at the plate and scored 2 runs.

Johnson pitched a complete game in the nightcap, a 9-2 Roseburg win.Johnson was 2-for-4 with an RBi and a run scored.

Jett Black went 2-for-3 with 2 runs and Caden Johnson had a hit, 2 runs and 2 RBIs.

Roseburg improved to 10-3 overall with the win, 6-2 in the SWC. They're scheduled to host North Medford on Tuesday.
