ROSEBURG, Ore. -- The Roseburg Dr. Stewart's American Legion baseball team picked up its second win of the season in a non-league contest against a team from Grants Pass.

The Docs notched an 11-5 win over the visitors, a team consisting of Grants Pass High School players. They are not the Grants Pass Nuggets, the Docs' Area-4 League rival.

The Docs scored in every inning.

Zach Holland was 2-for-4 with 3 runs scored; Garrett Russell went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI; and Jett Black was also 2-for-4 at the plate. Caden Johnson also picked up two hits.

Grants pass committed 8 errors in the contest.

Peyton Hope pitched 5 innings to pick up the win for the Docs. Cody Johnson finished off the final 2 innings in relief.

The Docs host the same team for a single game Wednesday, June 13. Game time has been moved to 6 p.m., 30 minutes later than originally scheduled.
