baseball stock 160802ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Roseburg's Dr. Randol's American Legion baseball team picked up two wins Wednesday in a doubleheader sweep over South Coos at Legion Field, winning the opener 14-3 and the nightcap 11-5.

The Crowns improved to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in Area-4 North play following the league sweep.

In the opener, which was shortened due to the 10-run mercy rule, Jacob Huse went 2-for-3 for Roseburg, including a 3-run triple, a 2-run double and a run scored. Austin Luzier was 2-for-3 with 2 runs scored and an RBI.

Drake Borschowa was the winning pitcher for the Crowns, striking out 7 in 5 innings of work.

In the nightcap, Brett Narkiewitz was 2-for-2 with two doubles and 2 runs scored; Austin Anderson was 2-for-3 with 3 RBI and scored 3 times; and Colby Greer smacked a 2-RBI double.

Colby Mahoney was the winning pitcher for Dr. Randol's in the nightcap.

The Crowns host North Coos Thursday, June 21, in a league twin bill at 4 p.m.
