MONMOUTH, Ore. -- Roseburg's Dr. Stewart's American Legion baseball team lost their opening game at the Willamette Classic Tournament Wednesday.

Roseburg fell 3-2 in their morning game against South County at Western Oregon University in Monmouth.

Both Payton Hope and Jett Black pitched well for the Docs, despite the final outcome.

Up next, the Docs (5-4 overall) play Skagit at McNary High School on Thursday, June 21. Game time is 3 p.m.
