ROSEBURG, Ore. --The Relay for Life of Douglas County is coming up soon, kicking off Friday, July 20 and running through Saturday morning, July 21 at Melrose Elementary in Roseburg.

The event raises money to help cancer victims and raise overall awareness of cancer-related issues.

The track opens for walkers and registration at 3 p.m.

Opening ceremonies, the veterans lap and survivor lap begin at 7 p.m.

The luminaria ceremony is at 10 p.m.
