TRI-CITY, Ore. -- The South Umpqua football team jumped out to a 14-0 lead Friday on two Creedance Ferguson touchdowns but ultimately suffered a 46-20 loss to visiting Notre Dame, BC, in their season opener at SUHS in Tri-City.

Notre Dame took over, regaining the lead in the second quarter and never trailed again against the Lancers (0-1) in a game broadcast live here at DouglasCountySportsOnline.
