ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Umpqua Community College Head Track and Field Coach Alan King has announced the addition of the following eight track and field athletes for the 2019-20 season, the college reports:

Shaunasi Hardy - Yoncalla High School - Shaunasi has a personal best of 113' ½" in the javelin.

Carlos Saravia - John F. Kennedy High School - Carlos is the 2019 OSAA  300m hurdle State Champion and has a personal best of 15.84 in the 110m hurdles and 40.60 in the 300m hurdles.

Carson Ellis - Roseburg High School - Carson, is an All-State thrower and has personal bests of 52-4ft in the shot put, 165-8ft in the javelin, and 123-6ft in the discus.

Rylee Parsons - Sutherlin High School - has signed to run for the RiverHawks cross country and track and field teams.

D'Angelo Adams - Roseburg High School - D'Angelo has a personal best of 11.38 in the 100m and 23.57 in the 200m.

Kaylee Hendron - Glide High School - Kaylee was the 2019 OSAA State Champion in the discus and runner up in the shot put. She has a personal best of 135-3ft in discus and 38-6.5ft in shot put.

Eddie Herskovitz - Roseburg High School - Eddie has a personal best of 52.5 in the 400m and 11.79 in the 100m and was key in their relays.

James DiFranco III - Springfield High School - James has a personal best of 11.62 in the 100m, 23.86 in the 200, and 21ft in the long jump.
