ROSEBURG, Ore. - The Roseburg Clint Newell Doc Stewarts summer baseball season came to a close with the Docs finishing 4th at the Oregon State Tournament in Roseburg at One Champion Carwash Field and Bill Gray Stadium.

The Docs hosted this year's tournament and finished the season with a 20-17 overall record.

"Thank you players, coaches, fans, families and supporters for a successful baseball season," the organization said on social media. "We love these teams and we love this sport."

The Medford Mustangs won 5 straight games at the tournament to advance to the NW Regional tourney.

The Idaho Falls Bandits would go on to win the Regional and make it to the championship game of the American Legion World Series, losing 6-5 to Troy, Alabama Post 70.

2023 will bring a new coach to the Roseburg program. Following the state tournament, Docs head coach Jeremiah Robbins announced he was resigning from the position.
