Roseburg is moving on in the postseason thanks to a 42-28 opening round win over Grant in a OSAA 6A playoff game Friday evening at Finlay Field.

The Indians jumped out to a 21-0 advantage, but the Generals were able to fight back and got within 27-21 early in the second half.

Running backs Ben Goirigolzarri and Selmar Hutchins III combined for five touchdowns as Roseburg improved to 9-1 on the season. Meanwhile, Grant finished the year at 5-5.

The second-seeded Indians will host #6 West Linn (5-5) in a second round game on Friday, November 19.
