Player of the Year honors were handed out to four Douglas County boys basketball players.

Sutherlin's Derrik Wattman was named the MVP of the Far West League; Glide's Brandon Halter was the top player in the Sunset Confernce; and Elkton's Brandon Bowen and Umpqua Valley Christian's Danny Medak shared co-MVP honors in the Skyline League.

Wattman was joined on the FWL's first team by South Umpqua senior Austin Page; Glide's Brenden Fricke was named first team all-Sunset Conference; and Elkton's Colton Maxwell was selected first team in the Skyline League.

Elkton's Gary Trout was the Skyline League's co-Coach of the Year.
