It was a light schedule for local high school teams in Douglas County on Wednesday, with most playing in tournaments and non-league games across the state.

The North Douglas softball team was the most successful of the bunch, winning two games against two different opponents Wednesday.

The Lady Warriors defeated Waldport 10-0 and Reedsport 9-1 in a home doubleheader.
