Second-ranked Sutherlin faces its toughest test of the season this Friday against two-time defending league champion Douglas.

The unbeaten Bulldogs (2-0, 6-0) will travel to Winston for a 7:00PM kickoff against the number 13 Trojans (1-1, 4-2).

It's a battle of unbeatens in Special District 1 as fourth-ranked Roseburg (4-0, 6-0) plays at number one Sheldon (4-0, 6-0). In that game, Indians' head coach Thurman Bell is going after win number 303 of his career.

Elsewhere, South Umpqua (0-2, 2-4) is at Brookings-Harbor (1-1, 3-3); Glide opens Sunset Conference play at Bandon; and Reedsport hosts Myrtle Point.

First place in the Mountain View Conference is on the line as Oakland (4-1, 4-1) hosts Monroe (4-0, 5-0); North Douglas (3-2, 3-3) goes after its third straight MVC win of the season against visting Days Creek (0-4, 1-4); Riddle (0-4, 1-5) is at Crow; and Yoncalla (3-2, 3-2) welcomes Oakridge (2-2, 2-2).   
 
Elkton (2-1, 4-1) is on the road for a Special District 2 game with North Lake; and Camas Valley (2-1, 5-1) hosts Butte Falls (1-2, 1-5) on Saturday.
