Newport standout Oshay Dunmore will compete in both football and track for the University of Oregon beginning in 2012.

The 6'2" 200-pound junior committed to the school earlier this month during Oregon's junior day.

This past season, he rushed for over 2,100 yards and 26 touchdowns; and was named the Oregon West Conference defensive player of the year. Dunmore helped guide the Cubs into the 4A playoffs before being eliminated by Douglas 50-20.

Dunmore is the grandson of former Riddle and Days Creek head football coach, Gene Forman.
