Roseburg leads after the first day of the OSAA 6A wrestling state championships in Portland.

The top-ranked Indians (96) hold a 45.5 point lead over second place Newberg (50.5). Grants Pass (49.5) is fifth and Crater (27) is tied for 12th place with Barlow.

South Umpqua is in 11th place after day one of the 4A tournament; Douglas is tied for 21st; and Sutherlin is in 34th place.

Glide is eighth at the 3A state championships.

At the 2A/1A event, Reedsport is sixth; Oakland is 17th; and Riddle is 19th.
