Ten girls basketball players in Douglas County were named first team all-league.

Coaches in the 6A Southern Oregon Conference voted for Roseburg sophomore Shelby Snook; while Douglas senior Ashley Alexander made the 4A Far West League's top team.

Riddle swept both the player and coach of the year honors in the Mountain View COnference with freshman standout Pele Gianotti and Casey O'Toole earning the top awards after leading the Irish to a fourth-place finish at the 2A state tournament.

Riddle senior Melino Gianotti; Hayley Reynolds of Yoncalla; and Oakland sophomore Brooke Spencer were also named to the first team.

Elkton's Rachel Winslow was the Skyline League's player of the year after guiding the Elks to a perfect 10-0 conference record and a trip to the 1A tournament in Baker City.

Three other local players joined Winslow on the first team including teammate Hannah Parker; Umpqua Valley Christian's Hannah Hawkins; and Cheyenne Baker of Camas Valley.
