huling.jpgSouth Umpqua's David Huling has broken the school's long jump and triple jump records.

Earlier this season, the senior broke the long jump record with a leap of more than 21 feet. However, that record would fall on April 23 at the Steve Prefontaine Classic in Coos Bay when he jumped 23 feet 3 inches.

Huling jumped a school-best 42 feet 6 inches on April 30 to become South Umpqua's all-time leader in the triple jump.

The three-sport standout is the state's top-ranked long jumper; he is second in the triple jump; and ranked in the top ten in the high jump.
