Roseburg first baseman Tatum Anderson was the lone Indian to earn first team all-conference softball honors in 2011.

Teammates Makinna Akers (P); Breanne Thomas (IF); Beccah Maley (OF); and Justine Rhines (OF) were named to the SOC's second team.

The Indians finished with an overall record of 17-11 and made it all the way to the Class 6A state semifinals before being eliminated by Century 2-0.

The 2011 Southern Oregon Conference 'player of the year' was North Medford junior Sierra Berryessa, while Black Tornado sophomore Maryssa Becker was selected as the conference's top pitcher.

'Coach of the Year' honors went to Chris Arnold of Crater.
