Roseburg Premier Insurance swept rival Pepsi in a single-A American Legion baseball doubleheader Monday night at Legion Field.

Premier won the opener 8-6 in eight innings thanks to four Bottlecap errors.

Tyler Gordon had three hits; and Tyler Foster added a single and a double in the victory.

In the nightcap, Premier Insurance broke open a 4-2 game with five runs in the top of the sixth inning and cruised to a 13-2 win. The big hit was a two-run homer off the bat of Ryan Dancer.

Gordon had four more hits in the second game; and righthander Noah Miller notched the complete game victory.
