Premier Insurance split an Area 4 doubleheader with North Coos Wednesday afternoon in North Bend.

Noah Miller had three hits as Premier (3-3, 6-5) won the opener 6-4, but North Coos (1-1, 3-4) came back to win game two by a score of 7-5.

"We really had our backs against the wall after dropping our first two Area 4 games," head coach Ryan Savage said. "I'm happy to be 3-3 and more importantly we've given ourselves an opportunity to do well in league."

Beginning Friday, Premier Insurance will play three games in three days at a tournament in Philomath.
