pepsi_stock01.jpgRoseburg Pepsi picked up its first league win of the season with an 8-7 victory over North Eugene during the opening game of an Area 4 North doubleheader Friday morning at Legion Field.

The win also snapped a four-game losing streak for the Bottlecaps.

In game two, Pepsi's Connor Newell had three hits and three RBI's; and Jake Bakken added three hits, but the Highlanders (1-1, 7-5) earned the split with a 9-6 win.

On June 30, Pepsi (1-5, 4-6) will play a non-league doubleheader at North Medford.
