The Medford Mustangs handed Roseburg its first league losses of the season Saturday night at Legion Field.

Medford won the opener 9-8 and rolled to an easy 12-2 victory in game two of the Area 4 doubleheader in Roseburg. .

The Docs dropped to 2-2 in league and 9-9 overall.

Meanwhile, the Mustangs (4-2, 14-5) stretched their winning streak to four games.

In Philomath, Premier Insurance upended Santiam Christian 16-5 to advance into Sunday's title game of the eight-team tournament. 

Roseburg is now 8-5 overall.
