Three Douglas County athletes competed in the Oregon Junior Olympics in Salem.
Jacklyn Navarro won the pole vault with a height of 8' 6"; and placed fourth in the long jump.
Kenny Freeman had the second fastest time (4:35.03) in the 1500 meter race; and finished in third place in the 3000 with a time of 9:51.80.
Also, Ryan Foster won the javelin with a personal best of 135' 1".
All three athletes will now move on to the Regional Junior Olympics July 7-11 in Spokane, Washington.
