Two Douglas County baseball players have been selected first team all-state for the 2011 spring season.

Roseburg pitcher Josh Graham was among the best in Class 6A after winning 10 games for the Indians and guiding them to the league title. Meanwhile, Sutherlin senior Kyle Jaukkuri was named a first team catcher in Class 4A.

Twenty-two other local athletes received second team, third team and honorable mention honors.

Roseburg's Jared Priestley (P) and Micah Audiss (OF) were second-team selections; and Darin Nelson (OF) was honorable mention.

Douglas High's Tyson Dahl (IF) and Dontea Escalante (OF); along with South Umpqua's Josh Kennedy (OF) were named to the 4A second team; and Douglas outfielder Ricky Cortes made the third team.

Glide's Brandon Halter (OF) was a second team honoree in Class 3A, while teammates Brenden Fricke (P); Cory Finlay (IF); and Tyler Gordon (OF) were honorable mention.

In Class 2A/1A, second team honors went to Umpqua Valley Christian's Jacob Lum (P) and freshman Jake Forrester (P); Elkton's Noah Miller (U); and Glendale's Bresnan Williams (OF).

Five players made the third team including North Douglas High's Garrett Jenkins (P), Brent Whipple (1B) and Jay Davis (OF); Days Creek's Devin Muir (C); and sophomore Erik Rogers (DH) of Riddle.  

Days Creek's David Acevedo (OF); and North Douglas's Austin Potter (IF) were named honorable mention.
