Four Douglas County softball players were named to the 2A/1A all-state first team.

The local athletes included Glendale's Morgan Streeter (IF) and Faith Williams (OF); Kaitlynn Rice (C) of North Douglas; and Yoncalla's Haley Reynolds (IF).

The Class 4A all-state teams also had a number of county players with South Umpqua's Kartina Warner (OF); and Sadie Birch (IF) of Douglas earning second team honors.

Sutherlin's Chey Malinof (P) and Kelsea Knee (IF) were named to the third team.

Honorable Mention went to Douglas High's Meranda Zanni (P); along with Tiffany Roemeyer (C) and Kylie Atterbury (IF) of Sutherlin.

Roseburg's Tatum Anderson (IF) was a third team selection in Class 6A.
