Roseburg was unable to hold on to a pair of leads and was swept by Eugene 9-8 and 6-5 in an Area 4 doubleheader Tuesday night at Swede Johnson Stadium.

The Docs (2-4, 12-14) held a 7-0 advantage in game one, but the Challengers were able to push across eight runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Eugene (6-0, 24-4-1) erased a 5-1 deficit in game two and scored the winning run with one out in the bottom of the seventh.

Dr. Stewart's will play a non-league game on Thursday in Salem against the Withnell Dodger
