Dr. Stewart's is headed back to the triple-A American Legion baseball state tournament.

The Docs (24-18) beat Springfield 5-2 on Sunday to win the four-team super regional at Legion Field finishing a perfect 3-0 at the event.

Jared Priestley struck out nine batters in eight-plus innings to earn the win; and Josh Graham smacked a two-run homer for the victors.  

The eight-team state tournament begins Wednesday, July 27 at Swede Johnson Stadium in Eugene.
