The field is set for the 2011 triple-A American Legion baseball state tournament.

Four of the eight teams are from Area 4 including defending state champion Roseburg, Medford, Grants Pass and host Eugene.

Wednesday's opening game pits the Mustangs (34-10) against Salem Withnell at 9:00AM; followed by the Docs (24-18) and Salem Post 9 at 12:30PM.

Portland Eastside and Grants Pass (30-14) do battle at 4:00PM; and day one ends with Eugene (35-11-1) hosting Hermiston at 7:30PM.

The state tournament runs through Sunday.
