Douglas County is home to the top Junior State baseball team in Oregon.

The Roseburg Renegades (37-4) finished the season on Sunday, July 25 by winning the Division II championship with a 12-1 victory over North Medford.

Cody Walker pitched a complete game four-hitter; and hit a three-run homer in the title game of the 16-team tournament.  

The roster included Walker, Trenton Allen, Craig Campbell, Trystan Campbell, Ryan Carhart, Brady Haskett, David Irvine, Rhett Iverson, Kincaid Jones, Hayden Kempke, Elijah Trullinger, Zack Watkins, Layne Westwang and Kyler Wolford.

Division II Junior State teams are made-up of current eighth and ninth graders; and can include no more than four sophomores.
