Three Douglas County High Schools have new head football coaches in 2011.

Former Oakland coach Dallas Amer takes over for Jeff Freeman in Glide. The Wildcats (3-0, 6-4) are the defending Sunset Conference champions.  

North Douglas has hired Scott Baker to run the program in Drain. James Shelton resigned following the 2010 season after guiding the Warriors to an overall record of 5-4.

Jack Ball begins his first season at the helm in Days Creek. The Wolves have dropped from Class 2A to 1A this fall and will play an independent schedule.
