Nicki Spurlin and Tori Bond combined for 39 assists as Douglas beat Illinois Valley 25-12, 25-9, 25-12 in an non-league volleyball match Tuesday night in Cave Junction.

The Trojans' Riley Van Horn had seven kills, while Sam Couey and Breauna Parr added nine aces apiece in the straight set victory.

Two other Far West League teams were in action on Tuesday as Sutherlin beat Oakland 25-13, 25-13, 25-13; and North Valley beat South Umpqua 25-11, 25-14, 25-14.

Elsewhere, Spreague upended Roseburg 25-18, 25-17, 25-20; North Douglas downed Elkton 25-22, 25-20, 23-25, 25-13; and Rogue River beat Glendale 25-6, 25-17, 25-23.
