Roseburg and Douglas are both ranked in the top ten in the season's initial Associated Press high school football polls.
The Indians (3-0) are tied with Jesuit at number three in the Class 6A rankings, while the Trojans (2-1) are sixth in the Class 4A poll.
Sheldon (3-0) received 90 total points, including nine first-place votes to earn the number one ranking; followed by Lake Oswego (79); Roseburg and Jesuit (55); South Medford (49); Tigard (48); Grant, Lakeridge and Aloha (24) are tied for seventh; and Tualatin is tenth (23).
The Class 4A poll includes Central (80); Newport (71); North Bend (58); Siuslaw (47); Astoria (42); Douglas (40); La Salle (30); Elmira (19); Scappoose (16); Banks and Baker (12).
Marist (3-0) is number one in the Class 5A poll.
