The third-ranked Indians (2-0, 4-0) had four takeaways and Javier Mandera rushed for 138 yards and one touchdown in the victory.

Beau Grauf rushed for 156 yards as Sutherlin slipped by Coquille 21-20 in a non-league football game on the Red Devils home field. 

The junior fullback carried the ball 27 times and scored all three touchdowns for the Bulldogs (2-2).

Dakota Senger rushed for three scores to lead South Umpqua to its third straight win of the season. The Lancers (3-1) scored 29 second half points in the 36-25 victory at Bandon.

Elsewhere, Douglas (3-1) beat Estacada 28-20; Glide lost 25-19 in overtime to Illinois Valley; Bonanza downed Reedsport 20-8; and Elkton was beaten by Triad 64-22.

Oakland (3-0, 4-0) remained atop the Mountain View Conference standings with a 56-8 win over Yoncalla; Crow shocked Glendale 32-6; Oakridge blanked North Douglas 26-0; Riddle lost a non-league game to Rogue River 34-16; and Mohawk beat Days Creek 52-34.

On Saturday, Camas Valley (1-0, 4-0) dominated Prospect 70-0.
