Roseburg outside hitter Anna Bruns had 17 kills in a 25-15, 25-12, 21-25, 25-18 win over Ashland Tuesday night on the Grizzlies home court.

Cally Tovey and Terrin Misfeldt led the RHS defensive attack combining for 29 digs in the victory.

"We played our best volleyball of the season in the first two sets," head coach Bruce Myers said. "The girls did a great job of coming back in the fourth set to put the match away."

Elsewhere, Days Creek (11-0) stayed unbeaten in league play with a 25-9, 25-16, 25-14 win against Yoncalla; North Douglas (8-3) moved into second place with a five-set victory over Glendale; and Oakland (5-6) downed Riddle 25-23, 25-19, 25-11.

Elkton remained perfect in the Skyline League after its 25-13, 21-25, 25-11, 25-12 win at New Hope; and UVC upended Pacific 25-18, 25-11, 25-8.
