Jordan Shaffer threw for 309 yards and four touchdowns as Douglas outscored Sutherlin 65-34 in a Far West League football game Friday night.

Junior Riley Lavin caught two of Shaffer's TD passes, plus ran for a touchdown and returned an interceeption for a score as the Trojans improved to 3-1 in league play and 6-2 overall.

Beau Grauf rushed for 106 yards and three TD's in the loss.

Chandler Dodd scored six touchdowns to lead Brookings-Harbor (1-3, 2-5) to a 65-40 victory at South Umpqua.

Quarterback D.J. Holloway tossed three TD passes for the Lancers (0-4, 3-5); and sophomore wide receiver Kristian Evans caught 10 passes for 111 yards and a touchdown.

Roseburg (4-2, 6-2) beat North Medford 49-0; Glide (0-1, 1-5) lost to Bandon 27-7; Reedsport upended Myrtle Point 54-28; and Elkton beat North Lake 58-20.

Oakland (6-0, 8-0) took over sole possession of first place in the Mountain View Conference with a 43-21 win at Monroe (4-1, 5-1); Riddle was beaten by Crow 24-20; Oakridge downed winless Yoncalla 48-6; and Days Creek lost to McKenzie 60-6.

On Saturday, Camas Valley (5-0, 8-0) beat up on Butte Falls 72-0.
